EUROPEAN PATENT GRANTED FOR OUR UNIQUE PRODUCTION PROCESS OF MAXACTIVAT/Zn

We recently obtained the European patent for the production process of one of our latest product developments – MAXACTIVAT/Zn.

MAXACTIVAT/Zn is an innovative zinc oxide, activated by a special mechanical production process. During this newly patented process, physical-chemical properties such as particle size, surface area and the amount of internal energy stored in the zinc oxide molecule are modified, making the product more reactive when ingested by the animals.

Extensive research has proven that MAXACTIVAT/Zn is effectively preventing diarrhea in young animals (piglets and calves), even when applied at levels in line with the strict European feed laws. Moreover, first trial results in aquaculture are suggesting that MAXACTIVAT/Zn can help prevent mortality with White Spot Syndrome Virus in shrimps (L. vannamei).
